CROSSFIRE TOURNAMENT FORMAT

  • GRAND FINAL

    1st and 2nd place winners of WCG 2019, SV and AG, have been invited to the Grand Finals.
    Match-up for the semifinal will be drawn for STAGE 2 winners (2 Teams) and be placed into a competition bracket with SV or AG.
    The finals and the 3rd place match will proceed afterwards.

    • · Tournament format : Single Elimination
    • · Match Format : - Semi-finals/3rd Place Match: Bo3
      - Finals: Bo5
    • · Semi-finals/3rd place match will be played as best of 3 and the finals will be played as best of 5
  • STAGE2 / KNOCK OUT STAGE

    A draw will take place for the 4 teams that advance to STAGE 2 based on their STAGE 1 ranking. Winners from each match will advance to the GRAND FINAL (2 Teams).

    • · Tournament Format : Single Elimination
    • · Match Format : BO3
    • · Total of 3 sets will be played. The team that wins 2 sets first will advance.

  • STAGE 1 / Elimination

    8 teams from the CFPL, the most prestigious league out of Chinese professional Crossfire leagues, will compete for the WCG 2020 title.

    • · Tournament Format : Dual Elimination
    • · Match Format : Bo3
    • · Total of 3 sets will be played. The team that wins 2 sets first will advance.
